In Answer to Your Questions...

I'm surprised and flattered to admit that sometimes people email me questions about my blog. In recent months, several people have asked me about why I haven't said more about my break-up or my ex-. I answered the first few privately, but now figure it's a good idea to say something about that here.

As is often the case, things turned out differently than they began. Because of that, and because so many people who know both me and my ex- have access to this blog, I've elected not to include much about that passage of my life here. However, I have created another blog (under an assumed name) in which I explore it in more detail. I've been careful to make it at least a little bit challenging to connect the dots between that blog and the real world.

It's not that it's all bad, because for sure it isn't. I'm still unwrapping the gifts I received from being in that relationship and even from how it ended and what came after. It's just that I think that each of us has the right to move forward into our new lives sharing only the things we wish to share with the people in them.

So, I hope that makes sense. And, if you are someone who thinks you ought to have access to the other blog and don't already have it, don't take it personally. So far, I haven't shared it with anyone but the anonymous public that might stumble across it. If you're certain you should see it, contact me, and I'll consider the request. No promises that I'll comply.

Hope that makes things more clear. If it makes sense, too, I'll count that as a bonus.
