Big snow coming! Hooray! I love a good winter storm. They're even better now that I've got a home with a loving partner, a puggy dog, and a fireplace. (Yeah, yeah, it's rented; it's still home!)

On the other hand, the turn-of-the-century windows in this building (work) bear testimony to their age by making sure none of us will die of carbon-monoxide poisoning. I've really got to get some gloves I can type in.

The ocean is dark grey with a hint of green and an ominously high tide. I'm thinking Mother Nature wants to remind us that our ego battles are only possible when subsistance is no longer a pressing concern, and that She's got the means to offer keen reminders as best pleases her mood of the moment.

So here's to keeping warm and remembering that love is always the answer.
