Last week was amazing! What a wonderful trip! Members of the LoVePile CoMmUnE converged at the home of one of the members in Minnesota. I want to write more about it, but it will take some time to process the whole thing. Let's just say that they are amazing women: wise, witty, brave, smart, kind, loving, and funny!

Today, my motivation is my job. I'm feeling a bit ... disenchanted. So far, being the President seems to boil down to working harder for the lowest pay I've had in nearly a decade, having failure built in (ask me about my To Don't list sometime), and being the dumping ground for every unpleasant task while my CEO keeps all the visionary work and opportunity on his own plate. I'm sure the reality is not quite as cut and dried as this, but functionally it's no picnic.

*sigh*

How did I get here?

I guess that's less important than where I'm going. I want to hang in here to see the payday. Then? So many options! Hmmm...

Anyway, just needed to vent my irritation so that I can focus on what I need to get done.
